An extension isn't updating

Fix extensions showing stale or outdated data. Manual refresh, re-authentication, and troubleshooting steps for Beaconly extensions.

If an extension shows stale or outdated data:

  1. Manual refresh - Click the extension and look for a refresh button
  2. Check internet connection - Extensions need connectivity to fetch updates
  3. Re-authenticate - Your session may have expired:
    • Right-click the extension
    • Select “Reconnect” or “Sign In Again”
  4. Check refresh settings - Verify the extension’s refresh interval in settings
  5. Service status - The third-party service might be experiencing issues
  6. Restart Beaconly - A quick restart often resolves temporary glitches

For persistent issues, try removing and reinstalling the extension.
