Authentication errors usually mean your connection to a service needs refreshing:
Reconnect the extension:
- Right-click the extension showing the error
- Select “Reconnect” or “Sign In Again”
- Complete the authentication flow
Check for password changes - If you changed your password on the service (e.g., GitHub), you’ll need to re-authenticate
Revoke and re-authorize:
- Go to the service’s settings (e.g., GitHub Settings > Applications)
- Revoke Beaconly’s access
- Reconnect through Beaconly
Check for organization restrictions - Some workplace accounts may restrict third-party app access. Contact your IT admin if needed.
