How do I create a custom extension?

Beaconly supports custom extensions for services not yet in our gallery:

1. Click the + button in Beaconly
2. Select “Create Custom Extension”
3. Choose the type of extension:
   • API Extension - Connect to any REST API
   • RSS Extension - Monitor RSS/Atom feeds
   • Webhook Extension - Receive real-time updates
4. Configure the endpoint URL, authentication, and display options
5. Set up polling intervals or webhook endpoints
6. Save your extension

Custom extensions support basic authentication, API keys, and OAuth 2.0 for secure connections to your services.
